I have just achieved my bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education majoring in English on May 18, 2022, and I have taken the Licensure Examination for Teachers last March 19, 2023, and to God’s highest glory, I passed the exam and become a licensed teacher.
In the last year of my college, I have my practice teaching at SCBMCI for we are not allowed to have an internship outside the school premises because of the pandemic happening around the world. My four to five months of internship in the said school brought me much learning, especially in giving instruction and classroom management. The coordinating teachers as well as the principal taught me how to professionally deal with various situations that have got something to do with school matters such as dealing with students when in class and dealing with parents or guardians of the students asking for permission with our thesis due to pandemic crisis we encounter.
I developed my communication skills and pedagogy for a short period, which helped me be more prepared for a greater challenge: finally embracing the full-time educator job. Given my ample training in college, I am confident that I am ready to work and do the responsibilities of a teacher and I know that your reputed institution can allow me to continue to develop myself professionally.
Given my lack of experience in teaching, as I am a fresh graduate, I am willing to be trained and I am willing to undergo a series of workshops and lectures. As one of your employees, I am willing to work and achieve my goal with your good company’s help.
