Hi, my name is Marie Joycellini T. Modesto.
I have a background working in recruitment agencies, where I developed strong skills in handling different types of people. I also have over four years of experience teaching English to diverse learners—from beginner to advanced levels—as an online English tutor. I’m genuinely passionate about teaching and, more recently, I’ve been exploring opportunities as a home-based childcare educator.

I’m here to meet new people, share ideas, and learn from others—so please feel free to say hi!

Here are a few highlights of my background:

Certified in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages)
TEFL (120-Hour Teaching English as a Foreign Language Course).

Skilled in conversational English, grammar instruction, pronunciation, and business English communication.

Adept at customizing lesson plans to match individual student goals, learning styles, and cultural backgrounds.

Recognized for teaching excellence with multiple awards, including Top Performer, Perfect Attendance, and High Conversion Rate honors.

Selected for a special Free Trial Teaching Project (2003–2004) and consistently ranked among the top educators for Malaysian and Taiwanese students.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on creating an engaging, supportive, and student-centered learning environment.

I’m especially passionate about teaching children and creating fun, effective learning experiences for them. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, which helps me better understand and support the needs of my students.

I’m always looking for opportunities to grow, contribute to meaningful projects, and make a positive impact. I’m excited to be here and look forward to connecting and collaborating with you all!
