The System Administrator is responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of the organization’s IT systems, with a focus on application, user, and domain management. This role ensures the smooth operation of all IT systems, supports end-users, and maintains a secure and efficient infrastructure. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: System Management: -Install, configure, and maintain software applications and system management tools. -Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure. -Perform regular system updates, patches, and security configurations. Active Directory Management: -Manage and maintain Active Directory, including user accounts, security groups, and organizational units (OUs). -Implement and manage Group Policies to ensure compliance with organizational policies. -Perform regular audits and cleanups of Active Directory to ensure accuracy and security. Identity Provider (IdP) Management: -Configure and manage Identity Provider (IdP) solutions such as Azure AD, Okta, or similar. -Implement and manage Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) solutions. -Ensure seamless integration of IdP with various applications and services. User Provisioning: -Create, modify, and deactivate user accounts in Active Directory and other systems as required. -Manage access control and permissions to ensure proper authorization. -Coordinate with HR and other departments to handle onboarding and offboarding processes. Security Management: -Implement and manage security measures to protect data, software, and hardware. -Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments. -Respond to security incidents and breaches. -Network Infrastructure Setup and Management: -As needed, configure and maintain network infrastructure solutions at location in Metro Manilla, including but not limited to logical separations such as VLANs Backup and Recovery: -Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies. -Ensure the integrity and availability of all data through regular backups. -Perform disaster recovery plan-ning and testing. User and Client Support: -Provide technical support to end-users on escalated issues (Tier 2). -Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues. -Conduct training sessions for users on new technologies and systems. -Assist with new client onboarding, including conducting IT Discovery calls with new and potential clients and implementing solutions Documentation and Reporting: -Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures. -Generate regular reports on system performance, security status, and IT operations. -Collaborate with other IT team members to improve and optimize the IT infrastructure.
